We found the Couch to 5K program and decided to start training using it on June 6th, the upcoming Monday. I was going to run in the Houston Marathon on January 15, 2012. I was decided on this on June 1, 2011. So I had plenty of time to get in shape for it. But first, there was one obstacle to overcome prior to setting off down the trail to a 26.2 mile run. That is actually being allowed to run in the Marathon.

I'm not gonna lie...I'm a little bit nervous.  The first thing is that I am going to be driving around in a rental car in another country.  I can't say that I have ever done that before.  So that will definitely be a new and interesting experience. The original was the Star Wars marathon.  That took place a while ago; almost two years now.  Six movies in one day, three boxes of wine. The goal was to watch all three extended edition movies in one sitting.
